I love linguistics, because I am a language nerd. I remember when I was in elementary school I would stand in front of a mirror and recite the alphabet, fascinated by how my lips and tongue and teeth made all those sounds. When I was in high school I started constructing artificial languages, and I fell in love with my foreign language classes. I ended up getting my degree in linguistics, which has turned out to be totally useless, but I definitely loved studying it. This page has various language-related stuff I've made.
